Disappointing Experiences
Some reviewers had less than satisfactory experiences with Sunderland Car Centre. One reviewer, Simon Cowan, had to renege on his offer due to the centre's insistence on payment before the car was even repaired. He was told to "just forget it then", which he found to be a poor way to do business. However, some reviewers had excellent experiences with the centre. X. Chill received excellent service, with the car delivered on time and a full MOT included. The centre kept him updated throughout the process and he was very pleased. David Hammond had a problem with his car, but the centre's staff went above and beyond to fix the issue. Paul Vaughan purchased a car and was very happy with the service and price. His car has continued to run well for over a year, passing two MOTs without any issues.
Warning Signs
Unfortunately, some reviewers have raised concerns about the centre's business practices. Andrew B. discovered his car had been clocked and broke down shortly after purchase. He was told it had a MOT, but this was later found to be false. Louise Wilkin had a similar experience, discovering her partner's car had been clocked and the centre was threatening to persecute them for leaving a review.
