Our Properties
Rothay Lodge House sleeps up to 10 people and offers spacious living areas, fully equipped kitchen, and five bedrooms, each with its own en-suite bath/shower room. The house is perfect for families, groups of friends, and special occasions. Rothay Lodge Apartment, on the other hand, sleeps up to 4 people and is ideal for couples, small families, and solo travelers. Both properties can be joined to accommodate up to 14 people.
Facilities and Amenities
Our properties boast an array of facilities and amenities to make your stay with us as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. These include off-road parking, wheelchair accessibility, stair lift, Co-Op, coffee shops, cafes, restaurants, and four pubs, all within easy walking distance. The award-winning gardens are a particular feature, with the gurgling Greenhead Gill flowing through the gardens and stunning views of the surrounding fells and valley.
Location and Activities
Rothay Lodge & Apartment are situated in the heart of the Lake District National Park, offering endless opportunities for outdoor activities, such as hiking, walking, and cycling. The picturesque village of Grasmere is just a few minutes' stroll away, with its quaint shops, tea rooms, and historic churches. The bus stop, with routes 555 and 599, is approximately 200 yards away, making it easy to explore the surrounding areas, including Windermere, Ambleside, and Keswick.
Booking and Cancellation Policy
To book, simply email or phone us, and we will be happy to assist you. Please note our cancellation policy, which states that if a guest needs to cancel a booking, the week will be re-advertised, and if resold, a refund will be made. If not resold, no refund will be made.
