Taylor & Stapleton, a leading name in the building services industry, was established in 1973 by Paul Taylor and John Stapleton. With a background in the construction industry, the founders initially provided an O&M publication service. However, due to the growing demand for an independent commissioning specialist, they soon began to offer building services commissioning. Over the years, the company has evolved and expanded its service offerings to include commissioning management and water treatment activities. Today, Taylor & Stapleton is recognised as one of the oldest and most respected HVAC commissioning companies in the South of England.

The business has seen several changes in leadership, with Paul Taylor retiring in 1999 and John Stapleton in 2005. Control of the business was then passed on to their sons, Paul and Jonathan, who had established leading roles in the company. In 2010, Andy Chapman re-joined the company as a Director, bringing with him a wealth of experience in water treatment. More recently, David Richmond and Phil Gover have taken on the roles of Technical Director and Business Development Manager, respectively. Today, the team includes experienced professionals in commissioning management, water treatment, and other building services.
