Loughton Lofts was established through the demand of our clients who recognised our expertise and dedication in handling loft conversion tasks. Initially, we were contracted by builders to manage their loft conversion projects, often taking over entire jobs and providing services beyond the builders' capabilities. With our strong local ties to Loughton, Essex, and a team of skilled English builders, we have become a reputable loft conversion specialist in the area.

Our team is committed to focusing on one project at a time, ensuring that every detail is meticulously crafted to meet our high standards. Our founders, Ross and Tony, are present on-site every day until the completion of each project, working closely with clients to design and build their dream loft spaces.

Our Founders

*Ross Townley*

Ross began his career as a carpenter and joiner, working for a building firm and eventually becoming a foreman for the last three years of his tenure. He then went on to start his own carpentry company, which tendered jobs for large construction firms. During this time, he opened his own workshop, creating beautiful, bespoke furniture. Ross is a skilled craftsman who takes pride in his attention to detail and commitment to quality.

*Tony Blenkinsopp*

Tony has an extensive background in construction, having worked as a foreman for a large building firm for over 15 years. He has managed numerous projects, from small-scale remodels to large-scale new builds. Tony is a highly experienced and knowledgeable builder who has a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional results.

We introduce certified electricians, plumbers, and other specialist tradesmen to the project when necessary.

From designing bespoke furniture to the painting and decorating, we ensure that all of our projects are finished to our exacting standards. We take pride in creating interiors that are both functional and beautiful.

Understanding precisely how you want the space to be utilised, we create plans based on how the finished room will function. We take the time to understand your needs and preferences, creating a space that is tailored to your lifestyle.

Working with our architect, we handle all necessary planning applications in-house to make your life easier. We take care of all the paperwork, so you can focus on the exciting parts of your project.

All of our projects benefit from a check-up after 6 months. We come round and make sure everything's in order! We take pride in our work and are committed to ensuring that your loft conversion is built to last.
