Sweeney Todds, the traditional barbers of Farnham, was established in 1993 with the aim of changing the perception of barbering as a downmarket version of unisex salons. Founded by brother and sister team, John and Jane Gill, the barbershop has been providing high-quality mens barbering services to the gentlemen of Farnham for over 25 years. Our goal was to bridge the gap between the typical ten-minute 'short back and sides' barbers and the more expensive unisex salons, by offering a range of services that combine traditional techniques with contemporary hair artistry.

Our Team

Sweeney Todds is proud to have a team of specialist barbers who are passionate about their work. Our team includes:

• John: John is the co-founder of Sweeney Todds and has been a barber for 34 years. He specializes in alternative and technical styles, and is known for his legendary grooms package.
• Jane: Jane is the co-founder of Sweeney Todds and has been a barber for over 30 years. Jane has worked in salons in London and Los Angeles and is passionate about her work. She sees barbering as an art form and enjoys meeting a range of people.
• Kevin: Kevin is the newest member of the Sweeney Todds team and has been a barber for over 25 years. He specializes in short, sharp clipper haircuts and beard shaping, and enjoys having a good chat with his clients.
• Diane: Diane has been a part of the Sweeney Todds team for many years and specializes in longer hairstyles and hair colouring. She is known for her friendly demeanor and enjoys having a chat with her clients.

Our Salon

At Sweeney Todds, we have created a gentlemen's club atmosphere, combining Olde Worlde charm with contemporary hair artistry. Our salon has been providing barbering services to the gentlemen of Farnham for over 25 years, and we take pride in maintaining consistently high standards, working hard, and being dedicated to our clients. We use only the highest quality hair and shaving products and offer a range of services tailored to meet the needs of our clients.

Visiting Sweeney Todds

At Sweeney Todds, we prefer that our clients are attended by appointment, although we do accept walk-in appointments subject to availability. We are currently open for business and following strict social distancing measures where possible. We ask that you make an appointment, but we will entertain walk-in clients. We are open from Wednesday to Saturday and closed on all other days. We offer free parking for our clients and are located in the heart of Farnham.
