Our clients benefit from our expertise, as we have the necessary qualifications, including City & Guilds 2377-002 for In-service Inspection and Testing of Portable Electrical Equipment, City & Guilds 2381 for BS 7671:2018 (18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations), and City & Guilds 2391 for Inspection, Testing & Certification of Electrical Installations. All our test equipment is calibrated annually, and copies of qualifications, calibration certificates, and public liability insurance can be issued for your records.

AshDale Electrical Testing offers a wide range of services, catering to landlords, homeowners, and business owners. Our services include:

• PAT Testing: We provide a full PAT Testing service with our fully managed system. Our team adheres to the IEE Code of Practice for the in-service inspection and testing of electrical equipment, ensuring all testing is carried out to the highest standard and in accordance with the relevant regulations.

• Electrical Installations Testing: We provide a periodic inspection and test of an electrical installation in accordance with BS 7671 - 2018 -18th edition wiring regulations, ensuring your premises meet the required safety standards.

• Emergency Lighting Testing: We test emergency lighting systems in accordance with BS 5266-2016, ensuring your premises are equipped with functional emergency lighting in the event of an emergency.

• Lighting Repairs: Our team can handle lighting repairs on your premises, including like-for-like fittings, to ensure the optimal functionality and safety of your lighting systems.

• Site Gear Testing: We offer site gear testing services to ensure that all your portable electrical equipment is safe for use.

• Periodic Inspection: We provide a full periodic inspection of your premises, ensuring all electrical installations and appliances meet the latest safety standards.

Our Fully Managed System

Upon arrival at your premises, our team performs a survey of your electrical equipment to assess the risk level of the equipment and environment. Each appliance is allocated a unique serial number and receives a formal visual inspection and appliance test in accordance with the IEE code of practice. We then label the appliance with the date tested, the tester's name, and the retest due date.

Once the inspection and testing are complete, we issue a certificate in the form of an asset list, stating the make, model, and serial number of each item, along with a report detailing all repairs, failures, and recommendations. All test records are stored for a minimum of 10 years, and copies of reports and certificates are available free of charge upon request.

We contact you with regards to your future testing requirements 14 days before expiry and arrange an appointment at a time that suits you, seven days a week, including out-of-hours appointments at no extra charge. During retesting, we carry out an audit of your electrical appliances, test solely the items requiring testing, and add any replacement or additional items to your managed system. You are only charged for items tested, and your portable appliance records are updated annually, keeping track of the movement, replacement, and addition of electrical equipment.
