At Lytle Associates, we're a respected architectural studio in the heart of historic Guildford, established almost 40 years ago. Run by four directors and twenty staff, we're proud to be an Employee-Owned Trust and work collaboratively to deliver the highest level of service whilst supporting and nurturing our staff. Our approach is never prescriptive, and we always tailor our service to meet our clients' needs and priorities.
Our Services
We offer a wide range of services, including architecture, masterplanning, and interior design. Our expertise spans across various sectors, including education, residential, community, healthcare, heritage, and retail. We're dedicated to providing creative design solutions that meet our clients' needs and prioritize sustainability.
In education, we advise numerous nurseries, schools, colleges, and universities across state and private sectors, and have several framework agreements with Multi Academy Trusts. We specialize in whole site masterplans as well as projects ranging from classrooms, art studios, and laboratories to sports halls and theatres.
Our residential projects range from the design of unique luxury homes to the masterplanning and development of large-scale housing developments. We're also experienced in community, healthcare, heritage, and retail projects, always striving to create sustainable and environmentally friendly solutions.
Our Commitment to Sustainability
We recognize that the climate emergency is the biggest challenge facing our planet and profession. We've joined the Passive House Trust and have two certified Passivhaus designers. Sustainability is increasingly high on the UK agenda, and we consider it at the earliest stages of every project. Our commitment to sustainability is, first and foremost, in the detail, quality, and specification of our buildings. To 'future-proof' our built environment, we understand that a sustainable approach must encompass every aspect of the design and construction process.
