Our Founder
John Foat, our founder, is a Suffolk-born architect who grew up on a farm. After completing his architectural education at Sheffield Hallam University and Brighton, he gained experience working at Sheppard Robson architects and Michaelis Boyd Associates. During this time, he worked on various projects that spanned science, university, commercial, office, and domestic sectors. In 2013, John formed John Foat Architects, bringing his passion and expertise for sustainable and bespoke architecture to the fore.
