As a funded place pre-school under the Education Authority, we are committed to delivering high-quality early childhood education and care to our young learners. Our History

Established in September 2011, Jolly Pirates Pre-School has grown from a small group of 16 places to a thriving community of learners, offering morning and afternoon funded sessions. Our purpose-built unit is designed to provide a safe and engaging environment, complete with five fully enclosed play areas, including our enchanting Fairyland Forest. Over the years, we have built a reputation for excellence, earning our accreditation award status in May 2017 and receiving an extremely positive Education Training Inspectorate report in November 2019.

Our Philosophy

At Jolly Pirates Pre-School, we believe that early childhood education is the foundation upon which future success is built. Our curriculum is designed to foster a love of learning, creativity, and exploration, while promoting social, emotional, and physical development. We implement the CCEA N.I. Curricular Guidance for Pre-school Education, ensuring that our children receive a well-rounded education that prepares them for future challenges.

Our Team

Our team of dedicated and experienced professionals is committed to providing exceptional early childhood education and care. Our group leader holds a BA Hons degree in Early Childhood Studies, while all additional staff are fully vetted and qualified to NVQ level 3, with ongoing training throughout the year. Our staff have also received specialist training in areas such as ASD, Hanen Teacher Talk, and the Media Initiative respecting differences program.
