At Global Solutions for Clothing (GSC), we are a family-run business with over 60 years of experience in the design and manufacture of clothing. With our roots dating back to the 1940s, we have grown and evolved to become a leading provider of high-quality clothing and solutions to our customers.

Our History

Our journey began in the Nottingham Lace Market, where we established Stevex Productions Ltd, manufacturing ladies and children's underwear, nightwear, and babywear for the UK wholesale market. As the retail landscape changed, we adapted to meet the demands of new customers and expanded our operations to include production in North Africa and Eastern Europe. We moved to larger premises and changed our name to George Street Clothing Ltd (GSC) in the 1990s.

Our Expertise

We have a wealth of experience in the children's wear market, having supplied well-known retailers such as Next, John Lewis, and Disney. We have also expanded our product range to include a variety of licensed products and plush toys. Our expertise lies in our ability to design, manufacture, and import high-quality products that meet the needs of our customers.

Our product range includes:

• Pretend to Bee, a collection of over 100 high-quality dressing-up costumes and accessories for infants and children from 6 months to 11 years.
• Active Learning, a range of soft play equipment, soft play centres, and soft play mats for nurseries, pre-schools, and the professional childcare environment.

We work closely with well-established brands to provide a range of products that meet our customers' needs. We are proud suppliers to the Walt Disney Corporation for over 20 years and have the capacity to accommodate all garment types, from own-label underwear to adult costumes and childrenswear.
