• Completion of paperwork and arrangement of a place of repose
• Placement of notices in daily/weekly newspapers
• Arrangement of floral tributes
• Removal of the deceased from the place of death
• Repatriation of the deceased from outside of Northern Ireland or Abroad
• Embalming treatment and preparation of the deceased
• Supply of a table, candles, and crucifix to the family home for the wake
• Liaison with clergy, church, cemetery, or crematorium for ceremony and burial
• Notification of newspapers as required
• Overseeing the completion of medical certificates for cremation
• Facilitation of the selection of the coffin
• Arrangement and assistance with the purchase and opening of the grave
• Provision of funeral vehicles
• Liaison with police and coroner as required
• Assistance with the selection of fresh or artificial flowers for the funeral
• Overseeing the administration of donations in lieu
