Murray Gibson Services Ltd is a distinguished provider of electrical and refrigeration engineers, serving clients in Cumbria, the North of England, and South West Scotland. Our headquarters are located in Carlisle, from where we specialise in air conditioning systems, refrigeration units, mechanical engineering, and testing & inspection.
A Brief History
Murray Gibson began his career with a 6-year electrical apprenticeship with Rickerby Ltd of Carlisle, established in 1880. During this period, he pursued further education in Electrical, Mechanical, Refrigeration, Welding, and Automotive refinishing. After 12 years, Mr. Gibson established his own company on the 1st of November 1993. Currently, he serves as the Chairman of the Carlisle Branch of the Electrical Contractors Association, Member firm No 75123.
Expanding Services
Since its inception, our services have continuously expanded. We now operate throughout the United Kingdom and supply on demand overseas. Our comprehensive range of services includes:
- Electrical contractors and engineers for new installations, rewires, breakdowns, and maintenance for all electrical equipment up to 11,000 volts.
- Design and installation of electrical installations for grain dryer plants, livestock housing, rearing and processing, workshops, offices, office complexes, and houses.
- Specialisation in poultry and porcine requirements from feeding, heating through to weight and profitability control.
- Supply of new or re-conditioned mobile and fixed generators.
- Standby, manual, a.m.f, auto, remote, and backup generator controls.
- Heat trace systems for heating control of piping and frost protection.
- Electrical Contractors Association Services, including P.A.T. Testing, Periodic Inspections, Inspecting and Testing and Certification of Electrical Installations as per B.S. 7671, ECA Member Firm Registration No. ECA:75123, JIB Registration No. M2043300, Warranty and bond projects.
