Our History

Founded in 1989, Northwood Food Machinery is a family-run business that started its journey in the bakery industry. Since then, we have expanded our portfolio to include conveyor systems and cheese cutting machinery. Our expertise has allowed us to develop a wide range of bakery production machines, including our popular travelling head guillotine. This guillotine is renowned for its efficiency, speed, and reliability, and is suitable for cutting various products such as flapjacks, cereal bars, and pastry.

Bakery Industry

Northwood has been manufacturing sausage roll machines, pasty machines, and associated equipment such as flour dusters, depositors, and travelling guillotines for three decades. Our expertise also extends to pastry plant, pastry sheeters, cake cutting machines, and cookie dough extruders. We cater to the bakery industry by providing bespoke solutions that meet the unique requirements of our clients.

Dairy Industry

Our reputation for building high-quality cheese cutting machines and cheese grating lines is underlined by our collaborations with some of the biggest names in the dairy industry. We now build cheese cutters for a variety of cheeses, including Cheddar, Emmental, Stilton, Edam, Mozzarella, Feta, Havarti, and Halloumi.
