Experience the Art of Hospitality at its Finest

Owning and running the Shrewsbury Lodge for 19 years has been an enormous pleasure for Julie and Nick Champion. It's a family-run business, which, they say, is embedded in their hearts and soul. Together with a small dedicated team, they are passionate about providing outstanding customer service from the moment you enter its distinctively private premises. Julie and Nick offer a selection of clean and comfortable rooms and provide the perfect accommodation, both for business and pleasure.

Our Accommodation

Set in the quiet residential area of Oxton, the Shrewsbury Lodge is just minutes away from the beautifully neat, bustling village of Oxton, while the vibrant and dynamic City of Liverpool takes ten minutes by taxi. Our 15 en-suite bedrooms are equipped with modern amenities, including TVs, tea and coffee making facilities, and comfortable beds with quality linen sheets and towels. Whether you're traveling solo, with a partner, or with family, we have a room to suit your needs - from singles to doubles to twins and family rooms.

Our Services

We take great pride in hosting various events, including weddings, christenings, baby showers, birthday and funeral parties, and gatherings with budgets to suit everyone. Our dedicated team will work with you to ensure that every detail is taken care of, so you can focus on making unforgettable memories with your loved ones. Our Vintage Afternoon Tea, served in elegant bone china, accompanied by a variety of appetizing sandwiches and cakes, is a particular highlight of our services.

Our Location

The Shrewsbury Lodge undoubtedly enjoys one of the most idyllic locations in Wirral. A traditional Victorian house, built in 1874, now provides comfortable accommodation for those wishing to relax and enjoy what Wirral & Liverpool have to offer. Our location allows you to easily explore the attractions of the Wirral Peninsula, including the Royal Liverpool Golf Course, Wirral Country Parks, attractive rugged coasts, and delightful accommodating beaches.
