Our collection includes a vast array of musical instruments, ranging from self-playing pianos and violins to pipe organs, music boxes, gramophones, keyboards, and synthesizers. You can hear the sounds of pianos played by famous pianists like Rachmaninov, and witness the marvel of a violin that can play itself. We also have an incredible collection of electronic organs that have shaped the sound of pop music and even an Edison Phonograph that can play 78 rpm records.

Over the past 50 years, our museum has been run almost entirely by volunteers. We are grateful for the enthusiasm, skills, and support of our volunteers, who have helped us win numerous awards and accolades. If you're interested in volunteering with us, we have opportunities ranging from instrument restoration to reception, audio-visual, tour guiding, gardening, and marketing. We're particularly looking for technical theatre or film/ media students to help us with filming, vision mixing, and editing for our YouTube channel.
