At etc Design Ltd, we are an award-winning RIBA chartered architectural practice based in Wombourne, a village just outside of Wolverhampton, in the West Midlands. Our practice was established in 1998, and building upon our many years of experience, we continue to provide a high-quality, tailored architectural service for private and public-sector clients looking for creative design solutions.

Whilst we can work within any sector or with any building type, we specialise in commercial offices, affordable housing, large luxury homes, and projects in the aviation sector. Our Architects and Designers work within all stages of the design and construction process and can therefore offer a full or partial architectural service depending on the needs of each client.

For every project we undertake, we are committed to providing innovative and sustainable solutions which enhance the built environment whilst benefiting the end user and the wider community. We work collaboratively with our clients, taking their vision and combining it with our passion for design, knowledge of sustainable principles, and appreciation of the local context, to design buildings that work for them.

Our Services

Our team of experienced Architects and Designers are dedicated to providing a comprehensive architectural service that meets the needs of our clients. We offer a full or partial architectural service, from feasibility to overall completion of a project, as outlined in the RIBA Plan of Work stages 0-7. Our level of service for each project can be based on a traditional form of procurement as defined by the RIBA plan of work. For example, we can be appointed as Architect/Consultant, Lead Designer, Project Lead, and/or Contract Administrator. We can also undertake the role of Principal Designer, under the CDM 2015 Regulations, where required.

Our Team

etc Design Ltd is a relatively small architectural practice, and deliberately so, to ensure we give our clients the attention to detail and individual service we believe is essential to making every project a success. Our current Directors have led our team for over 20 years and have a wealth of experience between them. Our Architects and Designers regularly engage with CPD and networking events to build on their existing knowledge, acquire new skills, and inform the team, so we can continue to deliver socially purposeful architecture.
