Installation Issues and Inadequate Service

Multiple customers have expressed dissatisfaction with the service provided by Gas World, particularly regarding boiler installations and maintenance. James Read reported that a newly fitted boiler damaged his roof, causing water leakage. Despite numerous calls and promises, the issue was not resolved, and the customer was left feeling ignored and unimportant.

Similarly, Andrew Poulton experienced a boiler breakdown and was met with unhelpful staff and a lack of emergency service. Lewis Wilson had a negative experience with the installation of a wrong thermostat, followed by an inadequate replacement. He also mentioned discovering numerous negative reviews online, suggesting a pattern of subpar service.

Ellie Mccurdy reported encountering a rude staff member and being charged for a call-out without prior knowledge. The engineers sent to her home seemed inexperienced and disappeared without resolving the issue. She considers Gas World to be a "dodgey" company.

Alex had a frustrating experience with a booked boiler service. Despite an engineer arriving late, he was polite and apologetic. However, when Alex discovered he was being quoted a higher price than initially agreed upon, he chose not to proceed with the service and will not use Gas World again.

Derek Hardwell visited the Gas World showroom and felt ignored by the staff, leading him to take his business elsewhere. Luke Parsons had a poor experience with a faulty boiler installation and was disappointed by the company's refusal to send an out-of-hours technician to address the issue.
