Poor Workmanship and Unprofessional Behavior
The reviewer, Ian Mccune, expresses extreme dissatisfaction with the work done by Wright's in collaboration with HCC on pavements and drives. The reviewer alleges that the company exhibited poor workmanship by planning the drive by 20mm and overlaying fresh tarmac on old, loose tarmac, which predictably led to the new layer breaking up. Furthermore, the reviewer claims that the company damaged a drop kerb stone during the process.
Unprofessional Attitude
The reviewer also expresses dismay at the unprofessional attitude displayed by the site manager from Wright's. The manager allegedly told the reviewer's parents that they should be grateful for the work being done for free, despite the original drive being solid and sound. This comment was made in response to the damage caused by Wright's dragging an excavator bucket across the drive, which was apparently the root cause of the problem.
