Customer Service
Hairtools' customer service has been praised by several reviewers. Karen Cowlin, a satisfied customer, mentioned that she feels valued as a customer and has had her expectations exceeded more than once. Jane Hewitt had a positive experience as well, receiving outstanding service from Alison at Hairtools. Alison went above and beyond to resolve a issue with a faulty product and even provided a brand new set of straighteners, a heat mat, and hair clips as an apology.
Product Performance
The Headjog Vibes straighteners have received rave reviews from customers. Jane Hewitt reported that the straighteners made her thick hair feel sleek and smooth, and made a significant difference compared to her previous GHD straighteners. However, Rakesh Botadkar's review focused more on his admiration for the company itself, rather than a specific product.
Product Issues
Unfortunately, not all reviewers had positive experiences with Hairtools' products. Amy Lauren Triggs, a hairdresser with 16 years of experience, reported that two pairs of tongs she ordered from the company had a strange effect on clients' hair, leaving it with a gold/mustard colour. Despite sending the products back and explaining the issue, Hairtools was unhelpful and blamed the problem on a build-up of product. The customer service was described as appalling, with Amy feeling ignored and undervalued.
