Current Regulations

Since our founding in 1972, we have been committed to meeting the demands of our clients who require a reactive electrical service. As a member of the NIC EIC (National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contracting), we are duty-bound to complete all installations to the current regulations and requirements. We take this responsibility seriously and ensure that all of our work meets the highest standards of safety and quality.

A Family Business

Vickery Electrical was founded in 1971 by Terry Vickery, who had a vision of forming a company to provide a high-level electrical engineering service to any client who required this skill base. From the initial outset, the ideals were to provide the customer with an efficient workforce whilst still maintaining a high quality finish to all products. From a very early stage, a reputation was forged that put the quality and professionalism of the installation work being provided at the forefront of the company operation.

In 1976, the company applied and was accepted for enrolment by the National Inspection Council, which provided paths and passed obstructions to a much broader field of opportunity within the electrical industry. At this time, the company also started to evolve from mainly residential work into a more commercial and industrial role.

In 1986, the company had a new employee from the family when Justin Vickery moved into the business. The company name was altered to T. J. Vickery & Son at this time to incorporate this new acquisition. Today, Vickery Electrical continues to provide the highest quality electrical services to clients throughout Essex, London, and the surrounding areas.
