Who Are We

Xtraordinary Photography is a professional wedding photography business owned and operated by Chris Ord. Chris is a husband to Laura, father to Oliver and Noah, and a brother to Sean. He is a tall individual standing at 1.98m and has an affinity for photography, which has been a part of his life since he was a young boy. His interest in photography was reignited when his wife was pregnant, and he received an inheritance from his late Nana. This allowed him to purchase a "proper camera" and immerse himself in the world of photography. He started by taking portraits of friends and family in his living room and eventually progressed to shooting his first wedding in 2008. Since then, he has grown the business into something he is incredibly proud of, and he also runs North Corner Studios, offering training and workshops to other photographers.

Our Services

At Xtraordinary Photography, we offer two simple pricing options for our wedding photography services. Our first package includes two photographers (Chris + 1) for 8 hours of coverage, starting from 1400. This package includes pre-wedding consultations, up to 8 hours of coverage, a disc containing high-resolution images with printing and internet usage, an online gallery of all your images, a slideshow of your images set to music of your choice, and a sneak peek of your images on our blog the following week. Our second package includes two photographers for all-day coverage, with no time limits, starting from 1750. This package includes everything in the first package, with no time limits on coverage.

We also offer engagement shoots and pre-wedding consultations to ensure that we capture your special day exactly as you envision it. We understand the importance of capturing every moment of your wedding day, from the big moments to the small details that make your day unique. We take a fun and relaxed approach to photography, creating beautiful imagery that you will treasure for years to come.

*How many weddings do you shoot per year?*

Chris believes in providing the best possible service to his couples and only shoots a maximum of 25 weddings per year. This allows him to give each couple the attention and dedication they deserve.

*When should I book my wedding photographer?*

Chris recommends booking your wedding photographer as soon as possible, as he only shoots one wedding per day and has limited availability.
