Biomass boilers are designed to meet 100% of a property's space heating and hot water needs. Wood pellet boilers offer the highest efficiency and resemble standard boilers in appearance. Their fuel is loaded into the burning chamber and ignited while a thermostat in the gases regulates the temperature. The hot gases pass through a heat exchanger, transferring the heat to the radiators/underfloor heating system, with a valve controlling the flow of the heating water from the boiler.
