Review: We have stayed at culligran Cottages for the last six years and have loved every second. I would say there is pretty much something for everyone lots of walks, beautiful scenery, fishing and biking lots to explore and located close enough to be a base to explore other parts of Scotland if that's what you want theres stunning beaches only just over 1hr away. We can't wait to come back next year and hopefully catch some more of those beautiful Brownies on the farrar.

Review: Hosted by Frank, these cottages give one the opportunity to spend time in one of the most beautiful glens in Scotland. The experience was enjoyed by all in our party, more accustomed to the sirens and smog of South London. The river Farrar runs through the glen and is picturesque beyond words and teaming with life. The local gillie, Dennis, is a true gentleman and has endless enthusiasm in sharing his knowledge.

Review: Stayed there a couple of years ago and were wild about the Glenn, the "hills" many above 3000 feet (called "munros" by locals) with plenty of lakes, streams, rock cliffs, heather and blueberries (filled my hat up). Glenn about 30 miles long, private with picturesque stream and lakes. The host owns the lower half and another laird owns most of the rest. Hosts very charming, helpful but otherwise unobtrusive.
