Our History

Founded in the 19th century, our firm has a rich history of providing exceptional services to our clients. In 1881, Frederick William Smith, who practised at 76 Cheapside, was admitted as a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. In 1896, he was joined by Frederick John Riches in a practice called "Fred. W. Smith & Co." In 1913, the practice was renamed "F. W. Smith, Riches & Co." Today, we continue to build on this proud heritage, providing a comprehensive range of services to our clients.
