35 Years of Construction Experience

Tim Kershaw's journey in the construction industry began in 1984 when he started as an apprentice under his father's joinery and building company. His formative years were spent learning various trades, including joinery, bricklaying, and property maintenance. Through hard work and dedication, he passed his joinery qualifications and went on to build a small business, working alongside a skilled bricklayer. Over the years, he built a reliable team of tradespeople and undertook various projects, including building extensions, bespoke houses, and domestic refurbishments.

Management Experience

Tim's management skills were further honed when he joined Crystal UPVc manufacturing company in the 1990s. He became fully occupied in installing windows, doors, and conservatories, including installing conservatory foundations and bases. He soon moved into managing window fitting teams on large local authority contracts. In 1998, Tim joined Property Claims Solutions (PCS), where he was responsible for recruiting, training, and managing a network of builders to undertake building insurance claims in the North West Region. His experience and expertise were further recognized when he was appointed as a director of Eastwell Contractor Management in 2006, responsible for all external operations. In 2008, Eastwell became wholly owned by Davies, a major loss adjusting and claims management company. Tim later moved into Davies and set up an external inspector field force to inspect claims before contractors were appointed.
