About the Owner

Our Managing Director, Mark Glendinning, began his journey in the construction industry in 1996, starting in landscaping and groundworks before transitioning into civil engineering. His experience abroad, working on large-scale projects in Hong Kong and Bermuda, has significantly contributed to his comprehensive understanding of the industry. Upon returning to the UK in 1999, Mark established Glenscape, a landscaping and groundworks company, which gradually shifted its focus towards construction and carpentry projects, reflecting Mark's growing interest in joinery and successful house developments. In 2011, Greenoak was born, marking the beginning of our company's reputation for unparalleled quality and craftsmanship.

Our construction process begins with an initial site meeting, during which we discuss your project and gather necessary information. Whether you have existing drawings, planning and building regulations, or merely an idea in mind, our experienced team is here to help guide you through the design and construction process. We will offer design advice, discuss feasible options, and recommend the best route for your project. Our extensive network of architects ensures a smooth collaboration from the outset.

Once we have all the necessary information, we will provide a detailed breakdown of costs and pricing. We believe in complete transparency, and our quotations are divided into sections, allowing you to understand the allocation of your budget. After the quotation is accepted, contracts and schedules are drawn up, and a start date for the works is agreed upon. How We Work: Joinery

Our joinery process mirrors our construction approach but varies in scale. We may create a single small cabinet for you, or we may undertake larger projects, such as manufacturing new windows for an entire house. Some joinery elements may require planning and building control approval, such as conservatories and new windows in new apertures. We can advise you on this based on your specific project.

We start by visiting you to discuss your requirements, offering design advice and ideas tailored to your needs. Our skilled craftsmen will create unique, custom-built joinery solutions, from windows and doors to storage solutions and kitchens, all manufactured in our state-of-the-art, 3,600 square-foot workshop. Our commitment to quality ensures that every joinery element adheres to the highest standards, meeting the specific site requirements.
