Originating from Alpex Architecture & Engineering and IDP Construction Ltd, we continue to uphold the fundamental values that define our ambition. As designers in the fields of architecture and construction, we understand that our responsibilities are deeply connected to the physical and human environment. Our work does not merely seek to intervene in the built environment, instead, we strive to create a continuous dialogue with its context, place, and history. Our comprehensive architectural services encompass masterplanning, design, tender, and construction phases. At Alpex Architecture, we believe that design and construction should be in constant collaboration from the inception of a project through to its completion. Laura, the founder and company director of Alpex Architecture, is an architect who graduated from the Polytechnic of Milan. She gained membership to the National Order of Architects of Cagliari (Italy) in 1998 and became an 'RIBA Corporate Member' in 2001. Laura has gained extensive international experience, working for renowned architects such as Massimiliano Fuksas in Rome, Norman Foster, and KPF (Kohn Pedersen & Fox) in London. Since 2009, she has been working as a London-based independent professional and founded Alpex Architecture in 2010. Under her guidance, Alpex Architecture gained RIBA Chartered Practice accreditation in 2012. Laura believes that good living is derived from the quality of space created by the elements of light, air, stone, and warmth. She strives to achieve clear forms, clean lines, pure geometry, and an attentive shaping of light in her designs.

Oliwia, a graduate of Architecture from the Rzeszow University of Technology, Poland in 2016, specializes in Urban Planning. She joined Alpex Architecture in 2017 and is currently working on several private residential projects in London.

Design and Execution
Michaela Brackenridge, who rated the service as 5 stars, praised the "excellent work" of Alpex Architecture. She described how Laura created a light and modern home from a "tired, dark and depressing flat". The design included reconfiguring the kitchen, living area, and existing bathroom, adding a second bathroom on the top floor landing. This addition was considered "ingenious use of wasted space". The overall result was "clean lines, loads of light and much better flow" in their Victorian terrace.
E. P., another client who gave a 5-star rating, also had a positive experience with Alpex Architecture. They noted that Laura and her team "completely transformed" their North London upper maisonette. The client appreciated the "chic and clever small space living solutions" that were implemented, bringing their Victorian home into the 21st Century. They described the process as "exciting and collaborative", noting that they were guided when necessary and listened to when needed.
Frank Maw, who also rated the service as 5 stars, was "very pleased" with Laura and her team of builders. He would "highly recommend" them to others.
Client Relationships and Communication
Tom Derry, who gave a 5-star rating, had a positive experience with Alpex Architecture. He described Laura and Ian as "really nice people" with a "great team". They adapted to all of his demands, offered cost-saving alternatives when possible, and finished the home to a "high standard". He would recommend them to anyone.
However, not all feedback was positive. Fa Matu, who gave a 1-star rating, had a "bad experience" with the architectural firm. They described the benefits as being "below our expectations despite a high price". They criticized the lack of rigorous site monitoring and the prioritization of decisions that were detrimental to the client rather than the builder. They advised others to avoid this firm.
