Our Story

Established in 1994, LEF has built a reputation for providing flexible and cost-effective engineering solutions. Our team has extensive experience in all aspects of engineering, and we operate from two strategic locations, Lerwick and NE Scottish mainland. Both locations have internal cranes and are a stone's throw from heavy lift quays, making us the ideal partner for your project. We're proud to have completed over 3000 projects in the last 5 years and have earned the trust of over 100 customers in Scotland.

Our Facilities

Our prime quayside location offers a 24/7 - 365 days a year service, with facilities including workshops and storage areas totalling 14,607m2. This includes one of the largest fabrication workshops and a purpose-built blast and coating facility. These facilities enable us to provide a doorstep service for all of your projects, minimizing delays and downtime.
