Our experienced workforce has grown from strength to strength, and our directors still take a hands-on approach with each and every project. Our History
Fox (Owmby) Limited was originally started as earthmoving and agricultural contractors, but we have flourished through the years into the quarrying and civil engineering markets. We remain a privately-owned company, operated from our head office at Caenby Hall, and controlled by Stephen Fox, the grandson of the company's founder.
Mixed Reviews
Google's accuracy has been called into question by one reviewer, Jamie Kemp, who claims that the search engine says he has visited the location, despite not having done so. Kemp's positive interaction with the company is centred around his grandfather's employment at Fox, and his fondness for the old machinery on display.
On the other hand, John Young's experience was overwhelmingly negative. He ordered 100 tons of aggregate and was subsequently contacted to confirm his order, only to be told that there would be a two-day delay in delivery. This caused disruption to his plans and resulted in additional costs. Young was angered by the lack of communication and professionalism, ultimately leading him to regret his decision to use the company.
Meanwhile, Barry Stonham had a much more positive experience, describing the company as "very professional" and "totally reliable". He encouraged others to use the company with confidence.
