Essence is a Bournemouth-based salon that has been rebranded and operated by its current owner, Emma, since 2011. Despite being in operation for a decade prior to Emma's tenure, the salon had a small clientele that Emma worked tirelessly to rebuild and expand. Today, Essence is known for its cleanliness, hygiene, and high-quality treatments, provided by a dedicated team of beauty therapists.
Emma, the salon's owner, has been a qualified beauty therapist since 2000. She is committed to keeping up to date with the latest must-have products and treatments in the beauty industry. Under her leadership, Essence has become a successful business, offering a wide range of beauty treatments to both men and women.
Our team is the backbone of our business, and we are proud to have a stable team of beauty therapists who are dedicated to their craft. Our newest team member, Jasmine, joined us in 2016 and has since become a confident therapist, providing high-quality treatments to our clients.
At Essence, we believe in using only the finest brands and products that the beauty industry has to offer. We pride ourselves on using natural and organic ingredients that heal us from the inside out. We are currently undergoing exciting changes and invite our clients to join us on our journey.

- Waxing: Our stripless hot wax technique ensures the best and least painful intimate waxes possible. Once you've tried stripless hot wax, you will never go back to strip waxing.
- Shellac & Nail Polishes: We use a range of Shellacs and Nail Polishes to keep your Fingers and Toes looking marvellous!
- Beauty: Our wide range of beauty treatments includes nails, eyes, waxing, massages, facials, and spray tans. We are dedicated to performing treatments to the highest standards, ensuring that our clients leave feeling their best.
We are committed to keeping up to date with the latest must-have treatments and training with only the best educators. We believe that quality is our state of mind, and we strive to provide our clients with the best possible experience.
