Welcome to Sale Private Day Nursery Ltd, an outstanding, single-setting family-owned and managed nursery school. Since our opening in 2004, we have strived to provide the highest standards in childcare and create an environment where children thrive. Our purpose-built nursery is situated in a beautiful period property near Sale town centre, offering bright, spacious rooms that are meticulously resourced to support the individual needs of each age group.
Our Teams
Our nursery is led by an inspirational team of experienced and highly qualified staff, led by our dedicated Nursery Manager, Gina Scholes. Gina started as our Deputy Manager in 2007 and was promoted to the role of Manager in 2009. She has since attained a foundation degree in "Early Years Childhood Studies" and has added numerous childcare qualifications to her portfolio. Gina's inspirational leadership has been instrumental in maintaining our high standards.
Additionally, our Company Directors, Angela Donnan and Stephen Donnan, bring their unique skills and expertise to the nursery. Angela, a qualified nurse, has brought many of the disciplines from her profession to her role, focusing on infection control, health, and welfare. Stephen, who ran his own IT business, has implemented various systems and solutions to streamline our operations and has taken on the role of Head of Finance and Operations.
Our Staff
Our team of over 30 staff members are our greatest asset, with many having been with us for over 5 years. Our staff are fully qualified, and the remainder are currently training to achieve their qualifications. All staff receive regular first aid training and complete online courses in food handling, safeguarding, and health and safety. We also have staff in key roles who have received additional training to support their colleagues and the families of children who attend our nursery.
Our Facilities
Our nursery has 4 distinct levels, each catering to the individual needs of children at different stages of development. From the Baby Unit to the Preschool, our specially designed rooms provide the perfect environment for your child's growth and development.
Additional Activities
In addition to the learning and development provided by our nursery staff, we also offer a variety of additional activities on-site and through various trips. Our partnership with Stretch-n-Grow provides a fun, action-packed fitness class where children learn strength, endurance, and flexibility. We also organize trips to the farm, which help children understand about animal welfare and where their food comes from.
Health and Nutrition
We take the health and nutrition of our children very seriously. Our qualified chef prepares fresh, nutritious meals in-house, and we have been awarded an 'Early Years Healthy Setting' by Trafford. We also use the Famly App to facilitate communication with our parents and to share information, invoices, payments, and more.
