Our History
Our journey began in 2006, when Nigel Goodwin, our founder, established the business as a sole trader. Driven by a desire to provide a more personal and traditional service, Nigel left Co-operative Funeral Care and acquired his first premises in Scawthorpe. Over the years, the business grew, and in 2014, Nigel's wife, Nicola, joined the business, and they incorporated the company, which now trades under the name Nigel Goodwin Funeral Directors Limited. In 2019, they proudly opened the doors to their second funeral home in Balby, providing an even wider range of services to the community.
