Welcome to A.L.S Photography, a full-time professional photography business run by husband and wife team, Andy and Sacha Stoyle. Based in the historic town of Llantwit Major in the Vale of Glamorgan, we specialise in wedding and portrait photography in Cardiff, South Wales, and the UK. Our love for travel has taken us to all corners of the globe, and we are available to cover wedding and portrait assignments both locally and internationally.
Meet Sacha
I'm Sacha, People and Photography are my passion. Growing up, I loved taking holiday photos to create albums for friends and family, and I still love looking back on these albums, reminiscing about the memories. When Andy and I started ALS Photography, it was a dream come true to create those lasting reminders of happy times for our customers. Seeing their delight when they see their portrait or wedding images for the first time is so rewarding and one of the best parts of my job!
My love of travel has taken me around the UK and the rest of the world, seeing fantastic sights and meeting people from countries far and wide. I truly believe that I have the best job in the world, working in partnership with my husband allows me to combine my creative flair with meeting new people and capturing special moments for memories that last a lifetime. When not photographing, you will find me hanging out with our family and good friends, and I love nothing more than catching up over a lovely meal and a glass of fine red wine!
Meet Andy
Hi! I'm Andy, Photography has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. Back before the digital age, when I was a youngster, I'd save my pocket money to buy my first SLR camera and then head out to shoot everything I deemed worthy of a click. Fueled by my teenage hobby of surfing, I developed a desire to travel, experience and document the different landscapes, nature and cultures of the world. Traveling to these amazing countries helped me appreciate our own beautiful backyard with its diversity of coast, seascape, mountains, and rolling countryside!
As I honed my photography skills, I discovered a love for photographing people, so to us, it was the obvious and natural avenue to explore! So that was it, I changed the dusty steelworks for the cleaner environment of many gorgeous locations and venues for outdoor portraits and weddings, and A.L.S Photography was born!
Wedding Photography Approach and Style
We approach photographing a wedding day with a reportage style using natural/available light where possible to capture those special moments and give a unique visual story of your day. Our aim is to document personalities and emotions in a relaxed, friendly, and unobtrusive manner. We are always looking to anticipate moments where we can use creative framing, composition, lighting, and other fine art techniques to create those unique images. With a natural love for the landscape, we are always looking to use the natural surroundings to our visual advantage.
