Our cottage is located on 11 acres of private land, on the edge of Britain's largest National Park. Surrounded by forests, hills, still waters of a private loch, and wild green meadows, our cottage provides the perfect location for a peaceful getaway. Inside, curl up with a good book in our cozy living room while watching the flames flicker and dance in the large log fire. Enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding countryside, sip your favorite beverage, and listen to the sounds of nature. Venture out and explore the many attractions and activities that the Galloway forest, towns, and coastline have to offer. When evening falls, gaze in wonder at the amazing stars and constellations that this dark sky location offers.
Our Accommodation
Our cottage has been recently refurbished and can accommodate up to six overnight guests. The ground floor features a kitchen-diner with a dining table that seats six and a breakfast bar for two. The lounge has comfortable seating for six and a log-burning stove. The master bedroom has a king-size bed, and there is a toilet and shower with a heated towel rail. All the amenities you need for a relaxing retreat are provided, including towels, bedding, and a fully equipped kitchen.
