His illustrious career began in the 1980s, starting off as an apprentice, where he learned the traditional techniques of painting and decorating on a range of projects. During this time, he honed his skills in specialist areas such as gilding and brush graining, as well as developing a deep understanding of the theory behind painting and decorating, including colour mixing and the chemistry of paint.

As his skills and reputation grew, Giuseppe became a contract manager, running projects and managing client relationships to the highest standards. In the early 1990s, he set himself up as an independent contractor, working with Cambridge-based painting and decorating firms. However, he was disheartened by the substandard work he encountered, often carried out by individuals who were more enthusiasts than trained professionals. This prompted Giuseppe to establish his own business in 2000, committed to setting a new benchmark in painting and decorating.
