Our History

James & Peter is a successful family-run business that has been trading for over forty years. Our story began in the 1930s, when Doris Walsh set up "Maison Walsh" in the All Saint's area of Manchester, providing quality hairdressing to residents of the local area. Over the years, the salon expanded, and in the late 1950s, the name was changed to "James and Peter" when Doris handed over to her two sons. Today, we continue to thrive under the guidance of Peter's son, Richard, and are proud to have established ourselves as one of Manchester's most reputable and beloved hair salons.
