Our History

Our Handsworth funeral home was established in 2014 and has since grown from strength to strength. We have invested heavily in our facilities to ensure that we can provide the best possible service to the families we serve. Our stunning fleet of Gunmetal Grey Mercedes Cars is designed to provide a dignified and comfortable journey for your loved one. Our attentive, caring staff, with years of knowledge, care and dignity, are always available to provide personal guidance and support at a time when you need it most.

Our Team

Our team is led by Jamie F. Knight Dip. Fd, a fully qualified funeral director with over 30 years of experience in the Sheffield funeral industry. Jamie is a father of two and has been a recognized figure in the Sheffield funeral industry for more than 30 years. He is passionate about his work and strives for improvement in everything he does. Jamie is dedicated to providing a kind, understanding, and empathetic approach to all your needs and will offer you advice, care, and guidance to help you through this difficult time.

Kevin Cooke

Kevin Cooke is our Fleet Manager and Mortuary Manager. He has been a valued member of our team for many years and has played a significant role in shaping our business. Kevin is currently studying to gain his Diploma in Funeral Directing and is a true asset to our team.

Shirlee Fearn

Shirlee Fearn is our Funeral Director and Office Manager. She joined our team in 2015 after a career break from the NHS. Shirlee has worked her way up to her current role and has a special talent for providing exceptional customer service. She is also the founder of a local bereavement support group, which meets fortnightly and is open to everyone.

Kay Shaw

Kay Shaw is our Funeral Director and Administrator. She has over 15 years of experience in the funeral industry and has worked for several notable funeral directors in the region. Kay is dedicated to providing a personalized service to each family she works with and is passionate about helping families create unique and meaningful ceremonies to honor their loved ones.
