Our History
H G King Funeral Services was established on 4th September 2017 by Henry George King. Henry was introduced into the funeral industry by his late father, David, in 2011 as a casual pallbearer, before starting a full-time position at a company in Brighton, aged just 18. Originally located at 69 North Road, we relocated to the old Lloyds bank at 24 North Road in January 2022, where we have created our permanent funeral home.

We offer a wide variety of funeral services, whether it be arranging a funeral for cremation or burial, organising masonry memorials, arranging house clearances, or just for someone to talk to, we're here for you. Our team, led by Henry King, are dedicated to providing a professional, compassionate, and flexible service that meets the unique needs of each family we serve.
Our Lancing Service Chapel
We're proud to introduce our new Lancing Service Chapel, seating up to 36 guests, with music and photography slideshow facilities, air conditioning, and heating, disabled access, and flexible service times. Our chapel is designed to provide a comfortable and intimate setting for you to say goodbye to your loved one.

We were also winners of the Adur & Worthing Young Achiever Award in 2018, recognising our commitment to providing the people of Lancing and Sussex with the very best quality funeral services available.
