Blackhill Engineering Services is a unique manufacturing business located in the South West of England, ideally situated just off the M5 corridor. Our two-acre site boasts 28,000 sq. ft. of workshop capacity, enabling us to handle large-scale fabrication and machining projects. Over the years, we have built an impressive portfolio of customers spanning multiple sectors, including nuclear, rail, highways, marine, defence, oil and gas, and renewables. We are proud to be an established part of the Hinkley Point C supply chain.
Our Services

With an internal lifting capability of 60 tonnes, we can handle even the largest of projects. Our design department uses the latest CAD software, enabling our team of engineers to design a wide range of equipment, from small bespoke items to complete fabricated structures. Our machining capabilities are equally impressive, with a comprehensive range of milling, turning, and boring machines capable of handling large fabricated assemblies.
Our Capabilities
We have the capability to work on a wide range of projects, from small-scale prototype parts to large-scale, fully assembled complex systems. Our in-house facilities allow us to lift single component parts of up to 50 tonnes. We can offer a full range of project services in-house, from design, project management, machining, fabrication, and installation. Whether you require one-off, bespoke manufacturing or ongoing volume production, we are scalable and adaptable to meet your needs. We can also provide complete programme management support on behalf of our clients and partners, on time and within budget.
