At Nanpantan Nursery School, we are a non-profit charitable limited company that has been providing exceptional early years care and education to children aged 2-5 years old since 1968. Our nursery is situated in a lovely old school house in Loughborough, Leicestershire, and we pride ourselves on creating a safe, creative, and loving environment where children can learn, play, and grow in confidence.
We believe that children learn best through play and see the classroom environment as a 'third teacher'. Our approach is that the children's learning is based on their own interests, and we encourage children to explore, experiment, and discover at their own pace. We believe that children acquire knowledge and skills through their natural curiosity and creativity, and we provide a wide range of materials, methods, and activities to support their learning.
Our team of experienced and qualified educators are dedicated to providing a high standard of pre-school education that is tailored to the individual needs of each child. We work closely with parents and carers to ensure that every child feels supported and valued, and we encourage collaboration and participation from the start.
Our Team
Our team consists of fun, caring, and enthusiastic educators who are early years and first aid trained. We believe that the nursery staff play a crucial part in the success of the nursery and in supporting the children in their learning and development. We have a clear structure in place so that parents and staff know who to speak to, and we are always looking for parents to join our committee team.
Sessions and Fees
We offer a range of sessions to suit our families' needs, including morning and afternoon sessions, as well as full-day sessions. Our fees are competitive, and we offer discounts for siblings and term-time only attendance. We also accept tax-free childcare, childcare vouchers, 2-year funding, 15-hour government funding, and 30-hour funding for eligible families.
OFSTED Inspection
We are proud to announce that our most recent OFSTED inspection rated us as 'good'. The inspection report highlights our strengths, including our warm relationships with children, our emphasis on independence and self-reliance, and our commitment to providing a wide range of activities and opportunities for social and emotional development.
