With over 35 years of experience in the construction and installation of bespoke interiors, we take pride in our small team of expert craftsmen who meticulously plan and craft each project from scratch. Our passion for design is evident in every aspect of our work, from the initial consultation to the flawless execution of each project.
About Our Story
Founded by David Lisle, a Furniture Design graduate, our company has a rich history that dates back to 1984. Starting with a small workshop in the Adelphi Mill in Bollington, David began designing and making furniture, including coffee tables, chairs, clocks, and mirrors. As his skills and reputation grew, he began designing kitchens for clients, and eventually, in 1999, he purchased the Old Chapel on Beech Lane, Macclesfield. This historic building, built in 1830, has been meticulously preserved to maintain its original charm. Today, David and his team continue to design, craft, and fit a range of interiors, from bedrooms to dining rooms, bathrooms to boot rooms.
Our Process
From the moment you step into our Old Chapel showroom to discuss your kitchen project, to our visit to your home to sketch out and talk about various ideas, you will be an integral part of the entire process. Upon visiting our showroom, you can see the beautiful furniture you will be able to have in your own home. Take a peek into our adjoining workshop to see the crafting process in action. Once we have discussed your ideas and requirements further, David will carefully design three-dimensional plans of your new interior. Our resident graphic designer will then take these plans further into CGI, giving you a perfect representation of your future space.
