Keith C. Britton & Son is an independent family funeral directors based in Yatton, North Somerset. We have been providing a caring and dignified service within North Somerset and the surrounding areas for over 55 years. As members of the National Association of Funeral Directors, we follow a code of practice to arrange the funeral to your individual wishes.
Our History
Keith worked at T. J. Lukins & Son, the local Builder & Undertaker as they were known in those days, after school and at weekends. On leaving school, he was employed full-time with them. In 1963, Richard Lukins died, and Keith and Jill continued the business and renamed it Keith C. Britton. In 1969, the business relocated to 10 High Street, Yatton, and is still here to this day. Keith achieved his Diploma in Funeral Directing in November 1969. In 1972, their son Julian was born, and the business name then became Keith C. Britton & Son.
