Who We Are
At Pelican, we are a family-owned and operated nursery, dedicated to providing a nurturing and sustainable environment for children from 0-5 years old. Our journey began with a shared passion for healthy eating, and an interest in providing a Welsh-language education for our own children. This led us to establish a unique nursery, where children can thrive in a bilingual setting, surrounded by delicious, organic food and staff who truly care.
Our Story
Our founders, Andrea and Mari, initially came from different backgrounds but shared a common goal: to provide their children with the best possible start in life. Andrea's passion for organic living and Mari's fluency in Welsh led them to join forces and create a nursery that embodies their values. In 2018, Mari passed on her share of the nursery to Sara, our dedicated manager, who has been with us from the beginning. Sara's extensive experience in education and her passion for childcare have been instrumental in shaping our approach.
