Growing together in knowledge, love and faith
We are a vibrant and welcoming school community, proud of our Christian ethos and our commitment to providing an excellent education for our pupils. Our school is situated in the heart of the Milton Keynes area, and we serve the local community with a mission to "Grow together in knowledge, love and faith".
Our Christian Vision
Our vision is to create an environment where every individual can grow and flourish, inspired by faith and motivated by their unique talents and abilities. We believe that every child is unique and special, and we strive to provide a curriculum that is rich, engaging and challenging.
Our Core Christian Values
At the heart of our school is a set of core Christian values that guide our actions and decisions. Our values of Respect, Responsibility, Kindness, Courage, Honesty and Forgiveness provide the foundation for our behaviour, our relationships and our learning.
Our Curriculum
Our curriculum is designed to be engaging, challenging and relevant to our pupils' lives. We offer a broad range of subjects, including Art, Computing, DT, English, Geography, History, Languages, Maths, Music, P.E., PSHE and Science. We believe in the importance of teaching values and morals, and we incorporate these into our curriculum through our RE and PSHE lessons.
Creativity and Enrichment
We believe that every child is creative and deserves the opportunity to express themselves. We offer a range of extracurricular activities and clubs, including sports, music, drama and art. These activities provide a chance for pupils to develop new skills, make new friends and build confidence.
Worship and Collective Worship
As a Church of England school, we place great importance on Worship and Collective Worship. Our pupils participate in daily Worship sessions, led by our RE teacher, where we explore and reflect on our Christian values and the Kingdom of God.
School Life
At Bow Brickhill Church of England Primary School, we believe that every child deserves a happy and fulfilling school life. We encourage positive relationships between teachers, pupils and parents, and we strive to create a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Our People
Our dedicated and passionate team is committed to providing the best possible education for our pupils. Our Headteacher, Mrs Pam McBurnie, is our designated safeguard lead and our Assistant Headteacher, Mrs Claire Kemp, is our deputy safeguard lead.
Safeguarding
We take the safeguarding of our pupils very seriously and have a range of policies and procedures in place to ensure their safety and well-being. Our designated safeguard leads are responsible for ensuring that all pupils are protected from harm and abuse.
