Your Vision, Our Expertise
Bluebird Kindergarten has been a trusted and reputable provider of high-quality childcare in Liverpool since 1968. We are proud to offer a nurturing and stimulating environment for children aged 2 to 5 years old. Our expert team of dedicated staff are committed to delivering a comprehensive curriculum that focuses on the development of the whole child - physically, emotionally, and intellectually.
Our Philosophy
At Bluebird Kindergarten, we believe that every child is unique and special, and that they learn and develop at their own pace. We are committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that allows children to explore, discover, and thrive. Our experienced and trained staff are passionate about teaching and learning, and we strive to cultivate a sense of wonder, curiosity, and creativity in all our children.
Our Services
We offer a range of services to cater to the diverse needs of our young friends and their families. Our curriculum is carefully designed to address the seven areas of development, including Communication and Language, Personal and Social, Physical, Maths, Literacy, Knowledge of the World, and Expressive Art and Design. Our dedicated staff implement a rich and stimulating curriculum that is packed with engaging activities, both indoors and outdoors.
Montessori Methods
At Bluebird Kindergarten, we are proud to follow the highly acclaimed Montessori methods of education. This approach emphasizes self-directed learning, hands-on activity, and collaborative learning. Our specially designed environment is designed to promote independence, self-confidence, and a love of learning in all our children.
French and Other Languages
We understand the importance of language skills in today's global community. That is why we incorporate French and other languages into our curriculum. Our children are encouraged to explore and develop their language skills through interactive games, songs, and stories.
Community and Outdoor Activities
We believe that community and outdoor activities are essential to a child's development. We regularly organize visits to local places of interest, such as the post office and greengrocers, as well as outdoor activities like number walks and listening walks. We also invite our local community leaders to come in and talk to our children about important safety issues.
Staff and Management
Our expert team of staff includes Principal and Administration Manager Jo Carmichael, Safeguarding Officer Angela, First Aider Kirsty, Nursery Practitioners Jojo and Laura, and many more dedicated staff members. We have a strong team of trained professionals who are committed to providing the highest level of care and education to our children.
Assessment and Reporting
We regularly assess and report on our children's progress, providing parents with regular feedback and updates on their child's development. We believe in open communication and encourage parents to discuss their child's progress with us at any time.
